Sulabug's Iris's quilt

Hot off the frame! Sulabug sent me this iris quilt top to be quilted. She wanted more than just simple quilting. More customized. So, this is what she got. I used Hobb's 80/20 & Hobbs polydown for a double batting, giving it the trapunto look. She also know's she's going to get feathers somewhere, which she did! Hope ya'll like a little bit of eye candy today!

That is total eye candy for sure. Yes, you both did a great job on it. I know she loves the Iris Flower. I think going with the double batting was an excellent idea. It's such a beauty. I know she must be ecstatic with how the quilting turned out to an already beautiful piece. I love trapunto.
