These two new ones are so pretty. It makes me want to pick up some wool & thread & make some. What are your plans for them when you are finished making the blocks? How many blocks will there be total?
really nice blocks
adorable blocks!!!
This is going to be a truly wonderful quilt!
Love your blocks. The colors of wool are simply wonderful-wool just takes dye differently than any other fiber to make the colors beautiful. And, your workmanship is beautiful.
They're wonderful!

Such cute blocks! Your workmanship is beautiful! :)
These two are as gorgeous as all the others. Your workmanship is wonderful.
I have loved every one of your blocks and these two are no exception. So glad you are enjoying the process.
Each one you have shared with us has been beautifully done...these two are very cheery and it looks like you are enjoying the project.
You do lovely work. I see a lot of stitching details in the second block in your flowers and leaves.
Do you have to cut out all the shapes or do they come cut out for you in a kit? Thank you for sharing your pretty blocks! |
They are so pretty ;)
They are just adorable! I wished I could do hand work but I just can't anymore. I never did do hand quilting or hand applique but I used to love counted cross stitch. I really enjoy seeing everyone else's though. There is so much detail. Awesome job!
Your blocks are just darling!! You must be having a ball making this. It makes me want to drop everything and start some wool applique!
I've been thinking about trying it, do you know how it looks after washing?
Great blocks
Love your blocks your stitches are great
This is just the cutest pattern and you are doing a fabulous job with it.
Beautifully done.
Cute, cute, cute! Lovely stitching and color choices. What is the name of the pattern and the designer's name? Thanks!
I have lost the link to the sampler. I have 1-8. can you send the link?
Absolutely perfect colors and combinations and your stitching is so perfect. I am green, as my arthritic fingers will no longer hold a needle.

celwood, I posted a link farther down the "replies" list.

I've never done wool applique but after looking back at all of your blocks, I bit the bullet and ordered the pattern. Your work is spectacular!
I have this pattern & after seeing yours I am inspired to start. I read thru the directions & have a couple of questions. It says to staple the pieces to the background. Did you do that - was the staple easy to remove & did it leave any marks. Also, the pattern says to whipstitch the pieces to the background using one strand of matching floss & then blanket stitch with a contrasting color. This seems like a lot of extra work. I have minimal experience with wool. Can you use a fusible on wool? Also, do I prewash the wool? Thanks in advance for helping me out.
That is so cute and your stitches are amazing. Great work.
