It was so cold this week I had to take a picture of my Sunflower Fields Quilt to remind myself of summer.

Thanks! We all need a touch of sunshine here! It has been very rainy, cloudy and gloomy here for too long! Today, it finally stopped raining, but the ground is so-o-o saturated ... Your quilt is a reminder that Spring is coming eventually. It is a beauty.

100 degrees in texas today, I'd like to roll around on your snow!
I loved your top so much I ordered the pattern and precut it all out to stitch on the road while we travel. A reminder to keep me humble, I realized yesterday, after all the papers for the sunflower petals were pulled that I'd cut those blocks wrong. Too big fortunately, but in trimming them all up by guess, my petals don't follow the lines of the yellow stars in the center of that block. It will still be cheerful. But not a show quilt ;) Thanks again for sharing. |
