Yes, I have met Donald Locke too. He came to our quilt show in September 2010. He had one heck of a long-armer!
I know that he spent so much time picking out and arranging his fabrics to make this and piece them together. I've often wondered why he didn't use fusible 1 inch grid when he did this. Maybe it would have been faster, maybe not. Either way, he did a wonderful job and it took my breath away looking at the piecing and the quilting. What an amazing accomplishment. |
