I finally finished piecing the top today! :lol: I couldn't get a good pic coz the silly thing is so big that I couldn't get far enough away 98x98. Now I need to pick a backing and get it quilted. I think a batik in teals would be nice, but DD will have the final say.

GORGEOUS! Looks like "Surf Song" from Twist and Turn Bargello Quilts or the "Bella Bella Bargello" pattern. I have both patterns, a bargello like this one is high on my to-do list.

The actual pattern name is Surf Song, from Twist and Turn Bargellos by Eileen Wright. The book has 4-5 different patterns and is a great buy at Amazon.com. The instructions are very thorough and easy to follow (at least on this one....lol)....easy enough that I will be making another only in reds.
