I'm just happy you got it back, and I also think you should put it out where you can see it. I see you live in Missoula, I live in Dillon, MT.

Wow, nice quilt. I think I made that same quilt for my grandmother (except in really different colors). Is it from a book called "24 Hour Quilts" or something like that?
And the label isn't bad at all. It has all the important parts and is neat, to boot. I've done much worse, and then there are my first quilts I didn't even put labels on. |
Bless his heart for Fed-Ex...ing to you. Ooh, don't be afraid to use it -- Your Mom would like to see it on one of your beds somewhere. I wouldn't put it away and SAVE it. I finished an antique quilt top given me by a neighbor a few years ago. Someone asked WHAT I was going to do with it when it was finished. I said, "Well, it's going on my bed -- it has been stored away in a cedar chest long enough, about 50 or 60 years.."

Yes I am glad it was found and returned to you, it will be a treasure. I like it and sure your mother did to.

Just beautiful and I'm so happy for you that your Father found it. This quilt will be cherished for many years.
