If I hadn't just told you what it was... would you have known?
And now that you know... what could you do with this fabric? |
I am not sure I would have known those are sweet potatoes.
would be great in one of the wonderful garden produce quilts that have been shown by board members.
I would never have guessed those were sweet potatoes. Maybe you could make a pot holder with the fabric.
maybe my puter is showing it off color????
I am not sure I would have guessed, but after knowing...I can see the pattern of them.
You could make a "potato" cooker to be use in the microwave...
Yes but then I adore sweet potato pie.
cook em and eat em?
There was a great quilt at the Sisters, Oregon show. Front side had fruit and veggie fabrics, back was all junk food fabrics.
Nope....I would not have guessed. Looks like it would go great in any Fall or Harvest project.
Nopt sure
Not from this picture, but up close and looking at the fabric I think so.
Husband loves baked sweet potatoes. |
Nope, never. Would have thought it was leaves. Lol
Nope, would have guessed flower pettals

hahahahaha sorry, but it looks like a pile of slugs!!! don't think I would do anything with this fabric. :D

I'd probably make an apron. Mary Mulari's site has great patterns and it is easy to follow her directions.
Looks sort of like icky germies invading the bloodstream.
How large is the pattern? It might make a cute stack n whack!
Yup! I saw they were sweet potatoes...which I love to eat!
potholders would be my choice or those microwave fabric bowls for hot stuff

When I look at the sweet potatoes in our local grocery stores, they really aren't this color. More of a light orange, less red. |
I see a casserole cover or hot mats for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners! As a GRITS, Girl Raised In The South, it would be a shame if I didn't recognize them. They have become the preferred potato in our house- not a yam but the sweet potato.
pot holder, micro bowl.
Kinda looks like falling leaves to me. Hmmmm

I wouldn't have guessed sweet potatoes, but I'd love a FQ of that for our fruit/veggie jar quilt WIP. Off to look for it...

Don't look like sweet potatoes to me. It is something I would not buy. Sorry.
It looks like leaves to me.
Where can I get some? I am doing a quilt called "Market Fresh" and I need orange fabrics to go with the rest of my fruits and vegetables.
