Table runner
 

This table runner is done with a technique whereby some of the strips actually lift a bit. Hard to explain but it gives it an interesting texture.

It really is a wonderful runner. I can see the "lift" in the design too. Very pretty.

It's 52" x 18".
I'll try to find the book that it came out of that explains the technique.

I like the texture the lifted strips add. Maybe if you ironed them one by one as you stitched, but in this case, I'm glad you didn't!
