here are some of the table runners for my daughter's wedding shower.

I also made one with Debbie Mumm birdhouses and sunflowers. Didn't get a pic of it. The one on the table with a candle is MINE! The first quilted item I've had in the 5 years I've been doing this.

The tables must have looked really colorful and pretty! I can't pick a favorite - they're all nice! Post pictures of the wedding!

Daughter's friend took pics of the tables. I don't have them yet. We had a tea party theme. We used linen tablecloths, tea pots with silk flowers in them for centerpieces setting on a crocheted doily. We had the church's real silverware and I brought all kinds of linen napkins. The favor was a real china teapcup with a pink peony on it. We filled them with herbal tea bags, tied with pink netting and a sage colored bow.

I bought linen tablecloths at yard and estate sales for the past year to get ready. I even had them on the food tables and brought a few of my tea pots from my collection to decorate with.

The invitation read to wear your favorite party dress and a hat. I had quite a few hats that were given by a friend of hubby's from the guy's deceased wife. I made everyone wear one if they didn't come with one. We started by reading a bit of history of the tea party from the Victorian era and served tea party foods- finger sandwiches and lots of cookies for dessert.

We had a good time. I realized I forgot to take pics!

The reception is at a local mansion (referred to as a cottage as it was the summer home of a local coal and land baron). Since the place reminded me of my grandparents cottage, I was thrilled when she chose it for her outdoor wedding and the reception. Her gown is white (which Queen Victoria started) with pink edging. The girls are in pink and sage green. my dress is a dusty amethyst color, lace on top and flowy and loose. Tried to get her to let us wear hats for the wedding too, but she's not crazy about it. The guys are wearing tails though.
