Table Toppers

I got the tutorial for these on You Tube with the help of a board member. I needed something that would showcase a large print that couldn't be cut without losing the details of the print. I really like the way they turned out.

These are so pretty. I guess you could make them as big as you want to couldn't you? From anything from a mug rug to a table topper. They look so "Fallish" Nice job.

lynnsim 11-20-2011 01:50 AM

You did a beautiful job with your toppers. I've always loved that shape, but am afraid to try it. I would also like to know the name of the pattern?

The middle section was a 14" square, the strips were 1-1/2" and 2-1/2", so it was probably around 17-1/2" with 1/4" seams. I sold all the ones I made so I have none to measure for you. I also didn't put binding on them, I just sewed right sides together, leaving an opening, turned, and did a decorative stitch around it to give the appearance of binding.
