Taliyah's Quilt

Someone on the board posted this quilt several months ago (sorry I can't find who posted it). There wasn't a pattern, so I created my own. Here is my version. It came out so big that I made it reversible so when Taliyah gets older she can just flip it over :) I made this for one of my former students who is due in July. I quilted this on my longarm with spirals and wonky butterflies. Hope you enjoy :)

Again, someone on the board helped with this dilemma.... I quilted both sides separately with wedding tulle as the backing so it didn't get too heavy or bulky. The tulle worked out really well. I sure wish I could remember who gave me all the great ideas for this quilt. I sure would like to thank them. |
