Yea, she likes to do things like that. Heck, there's a bunch that like to bring old threads up to "wet our appetite" lol Tippy....check out thrift stores. Best place to find teacups. |
How freaky is this.....
helped a mate move house over the weekend, and she was about to throw out two teacups and saucers. I grabbed them, they were too cute to biff, but had no idea what to do with them. Now..... all I need is someone to tell me how these are made! :-) |
Oh this is so nice! Are they going to be gifts or sold? I bought a cup and saucer to do this with as a gift, but, the painted pattern inside was so nice, I just gave her the set instead. LoL!
I have seen these made into little night light lamps too. Good for you that you acted on this idea. I know everyone is going to love it. Have you ever read the book," Making Fabulous Pincushions", by Jo Packman? Anyone who sews would love this book. |
I searched in here and found a link to a pattern, but it's in French. :?

So cute. I need to visit my Goodwill. I can always use another really cute pincushion.

here is the link.....to one....
http://www.everythingsewing.net/teacuppincushion.htm We discussed this several years ago. I have some teacups and a bag of steel wool. Now I have to find something for the top of the pincushion. June |
Very cute! Ya'll always have the best ideas. I'm a magnetic pin holder girl myself...but these are very cute. Definately like the silver cup too!
