Edit: I'm actually not sure that foundation piecing would be any easier, you'd still have to seperate the sleeve units from the body and skirt/pants, which still leaves an inset seam. I haven't made my own foundation patterns before though, so might not be seeing it right. |

Thanks Pam and Blue Chicken for designing the pattern and sharing. I'm looking forward to making some of these blocks. I make my hubby's Western shirts and I save all scraps. Those fabrics would be perfect for the blocks.....both boys and girls. I also have some lightweight denim that was leftover from a jumper I made myself. My MIL just gave me oodles and oodles of sewing goodies. There are several tiny buttons that would be perfect for embellishing the blocks.
