Testing a Quilt Pattern!

1 Attachment(s)
I had the wonderful opportunity to test a quilt pattern for Jenel Looney called Two Hearts in Love. Her pattern was inspired by the romance author Susan Mallery. She is Susan's assistant and she created this pattern as a gift for Susan. I will admit, she designed the heart portion of the quilt, but finished her pattern with a solid border...well, I like pieced borders and wanted the finished quilt to be larger (I will still be adding more borders to get it queen-sized), so I came up with the woven ribbons border. Currently it is 57"x73". I LOVE this pattern and it has become my go-to pattern for wedding quilts!!! If you ever have the opportunity to test a quilt pattern for someone, I would highly recommend it!

huh.
I could have sworn I already posted about this quilt on another thread - Two Hearts in Love - but it seems to have gone poof!

Anyway, (again).....

I love your woven-ribbon design.
It's relatively easy to construct but really creates a wonderful graphic that nicely complements the hearts.
My favorite kind of border.

I'm can definitely see many uses for it.

Great work, and thanks for sharing!

My nephew is getting married and I wanted to make him a quilt but couldn't find a pattern that I really wanted to make for him and his wife to be. This would be PERFECT. I just hope I can do it as well as you have! I LOVE it!

Thank you all so much for your kind words. I just love this pattern and the quilt is so easy to adapt to any color scheme...I may have to really mix up my next one and use black in the place of the white!
