Absolutely gorgeous! Did you use interfacing before cutting the silk?
No I didn't use interfacing as I thought it would make the fabric too hard to fold. If you are using silk a lot of people interface it before cutting, Thai Silk is a firmer fabric than pure silk so it wasn't too bad to work with, I cut my strips 31/2 x 6 and then fold over 1/2 inch to make them 3 x 6 so as the raw edge does not show, I also put a few tacking stitches at the bottom of each "petal" and then top stitch the last row to hold everything in place.

Did you use a stabilizer to keep the silk from traveling? I had the same problem with brocade and didn't about fusible stabilizer till after all the pieces were cut LOL.

Last time I visited her I noted the colors in her lounge suite, I think they will go rather well. Was not the easiest fabric to work with, Thai Silk frays while you look at it.
I assume a louge suite is a bedroom? The pillows are beautiful. I want to try a quilt in silks or satin. Any ideas?
