Thank you for all the wonderful comments about the pic of my log home I posted. Yes, I have a guest room, yes visitors are welcome. Some of you asked for pics of my sewing room, so here are a few and a few of the inside.

Love it! This is what I call comfort living.... Always wanted to have a log cabin built. Maybe some day. Love the spacious sewing room too!

Wow! This is great. I have one child sized desk, one sewing machine that doesn't even zigzag and one nightstand with two drawers. My stash and supplies are in two cardboard boxes in my bedroom. I will expand when we get a different house. I just started so I don't have much stuff yet.

Just let me live in a house by the side of the road....your home, your sewing room...makes us all want to go down there and visit! But, then, we'd probably not wanty to leave.

I'm thinking of making my reservation for next Jan. when the cold winds are blowing! Snakes are hibernating down there at that time aren't they? I'll bring my machine and we can quilt together! "I'll bring a little lunch", that's a Norwegian
thing! Everything goes better with " a little lunch". :wink:

I see lots of doilies...I love making the pineapple doilies.
Love your house! Your view is spectacular! It makes me happy just looking at it. I see your dog likes to be in the sewing area, mine does too! What breed is your fur baby?

I love the batting on the ceiling idea...I have mine in the box it came in. Its in the cellar and have to have my husband help me every time I need to get some batting out.

This reminds me of what my husband said the other day.
It's no secret my wife is a quilter.lol
