Terrific Idea and Very Pretty...however, I'm afraid if I used those on my Thanksgiving table I would be glaring at anyone who tried to get them dirty...LOL...just kidding. I've always thought things like these were to be used, enjoyed, and the memories cherished...and if they got soiled I could make more!

You are sooo right. Use, enjoy and cherish. I have a table cloth that my DMIL hand crocheted for me years ago. It has been used under the wedding cake in all of my kids and married grandkids weddings. At my youngest daughters wedding some of the teal flower frosting got dropped on it and caused a stain. At first I was upset but now (25 years later) it is very comforting to see the stain and it always brings back happy memories.
