I figured after completing 19 quilts last year (all bed size except a hand quilted baby quilt that was 60x75) - 8 of those for Christmas - I deserve to make one for me.

I have NOTHING that I have ever made except a couple of cross stitch pieces, some curtains, dogs beds and stuff. It is about time.

love your fabs and colors. I agree, time for me. this year, I spent a lot of my holidays gift money on fabric for placemats and fabric napkins, something for me.

Today, I finally get to start "MY" quilt also! Mine will be "birthday cake colors". I will keep checking in with this thread to keep up with how you are doing, and let you know if I am making progress. Mine is going to be done in a "weave" design. I can't wait to see yours!
