Thanks for all the neat replies. Jillaine, I LOVE the one you did. Spectacular color combination. WTxRed, yes the instructions I got from a friend call for the blocks to turn every other one. Joyce888, actually they are 6 inch blocks but I have seen them in 9 inch. QuiltNan, I did not know that. Thanks for the info.

I have already started ordering fabric. I do not have a lot of batiks, but I will soon. I imported the ones I plan to have or have already. I like the idea of seeing what it will REALLY look like. Anyone who owns EQ knows what I mean. I love it.

Lovely pattern, and I agree with WTxRed, turn every other block so you won't have to match up so many seams.

Love this pattern, will be using it soon. Thanks so much for the tip on turning every other block!

I did my first batik quilt using a design something like yours, but I certainly like yours better. If you are going to use the same color palette as in the drawing, wow!, it is going to be gorgeous.
