Thinking Outside the Box - its Done!!
2 Attachment(s)
Finished! Its going to the Durham Fair - cross your fingers, guys because if it takes a first it will go to the state fair - I hope I hope!!
Thank you for all your great feedback - I did end up quilting in circles - each block got a circle around it so the circles overlapped each other which turned out really well. The border I was of two minds - not to quilt at all becasue I did not want to detract from the design, But I know that the judges like quilted borders. The pictures are not the greatest (took them on the floor of my office!) but they definitely show it off. Hey if anyone knows how to contact Chloe at toadusew - could you ask her to send me a PM? I would like to get an acknowledgement statement from her so I can sign the back and make sure they get credit. Anyone who wants to make one - Do it!! Great pattern, fairly easy, striking results as Yvonne will tell you! Gorgeous. I was so inspired by your quilt when it was still in the flimsy stage, that I purchased the pattern as well. I think it will be hubs Christmas present. Good luck at the fair!
