Very cute quilt. I have pretty much stopped making "baby" quilts. I make them all a little bit larger that way they can be used on a toddler bed or as a playmat on the floor. The one exception would be if I am doing one specifically for a stroller quilt.
I would keep the size. They can love it longer this way! |
i make mine longer too...even when they are small they kick alot so there is some to tuck under so they kinda stay in it

leave it that size. the baby will grow into it quickly. cute quilt!!

adorable baby quilt!

very cute...i like mine longer....it works!!!

My experience is this: I make two for grandchildren and they use the small one (40 x 42 approx) when they are small and they can be wrapped up in then I make a larger one (whatever crib size is) and they use it as they get bigger. So don't waste the fabric by cutting it off they'll appreciate the bigger one later. They get so many small ones at showers and as gifts. My two cents worth.

leave it alone...they grow so quick...very cute

I would leave the row on...the baby will be a child, then a teen almost before you know it!
Very Cute!!!!! |
I like it the way it is. Cute quilt!

Actually, the pic isn't popping up on my iPhone just now, but you have a real dilemma! I love square quilts, but the board is right when they bigger=longer useful life.
