Thousand Pyramid
 

Here is my most recent. I made the top a while ago. Recently a friend (also my boss!) asked if I would make her a quilt. She loved this top and I was more than happy to give this one to her. I really do like it. It was all scrap fabric. She purchased the fabric for the back and the quilting was done on my home machine in a couple days. After doing free motion on my last few quilts this straight line quilting was a breeze! I am sure I will make another...maybe in red :)

Those blues are just yummy! I have a quilt in this pattern that my grandmother and great-grandmother worked on together. They used bits from old clothes. It shows that it's been loved and lounges in a cabinet now.

Nice thousand pyramid quilt.

Thanks for all the compliments!! It was a bit easier than I originally thought. I used the Fons & Porter 60 degree pyramid ruler and strips of different blues I had on hand.

Very nice - many of us are afraid to try these!
