Three finished, finally!

I wish I had someone to hold these up for me to take pictures.
The Corgi quilt is a baby quilt for a friend who has Corgis. I'm afraid I draw beagles much better than I do Corgis. My Corgis look like short-legged beagles with pointy ears and no tail. I never could place my OBW blocks in an interesting pattern and the quilt was going to be too small. I added the black triangles. Now it is a good size to cover the sofa so my grandchildren's toys don't fall between the cushions. The black, white, and red quilt is from a pattern called Shine. It is a jelly roll pattern and was lots of fun to make. |
very cute quilts

Great quilts but your OBW is gorgeous!
Your quilts are very nice. I love the corgis are great. Can you post your fabric of the OBW before you cut it up?
Beautiful beautiful quilts. I love every single one of them but as Tartan posted, your OBW is absolutely awesome. Please can we see the original fabric?

I really think the fabric was too pretty to cut up for a quilt like this, but I'd never done one and didn't realize it. |
All three are gorgeous.
Love OBW Stack and Whack. My favs and yours is beautiful. I think the dogs are cute. I can't imagine what mine would look like if I tried to freehand. You do wonderful work.
All the quilts are great, but those corgis are wonderful. Only the tri-color has beagle-wannabe tendencies (but not much), the bottom one is pure corgi!
Actually ... the Corgi is quite nice! I can't see the one at the top too well, but the one sleeping at the bottom looks like a great Corgi puppy!!
All are very pretty! |
All three quilts are wonderful but I especially like the first one! I think you did a great job on the corgis particularly the one you showed the close up of in the bottom corner. Very creative!!!
all are very nice, it looks like a corgi to me.
all are very nice
wow, beautiful job on all... i love OBWs
all three are wonderful...... I may need to rethink my next project
Three great quilts and all so different! Thanks so much for sharing them!
nice finishes.
Some really awesome quilts!
Beautiful work! I love your Corgi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finishes are always a good thing and just LOVE your Corgis :)
Love your quilts!
I like adding the background triangles on kaleidoscopes since they make the designs show up so much better as well as increasing the size of the quilt. Your corgis are very cute! And that black and white with the red is great too. Becoming one of my favorite combinations. |
They are all beautiful.
beautiful, love the bl/wh
Beautiful quilts.
They are all beautiful. The fabric used for the OBW is gorgeous and I would have had a hard time cutting it up too. It turned out beautiful.
Beautiful quilts! You do lovely work!
All three are gorgeous! Your little corgles (:)) are adorable, and I love your OBW.
Great job, sis! Sure like that black and white version of Shine better than what's on the pattern!
The quilts are all very nicely done. It's impressive to me that you can draw a dog so well. Really nice touch. The black triangles made the OBW look fantastic. Normally I don't like those as it looks all mushed together...yours is creative and distinctively yours. Great idea to do that.

Lovely quilts!

How very sweet the corgi quilt is. I love the colors a lot.
The other two are fabulous in their own right too. The black and white is really something special. I know that one block wonder had to take a ton of time and it came out great! |
OBW's are my favorite. I have never seen an ugly one. Yours is beautiful. Your corgi's are beautiful too. I shudder to think what mine would look like. Zero talent in drawing here.
very nice quilts!!!!
They are all great quilts. Thanks for sharing.
3 awesome quilts-all are special in their own way
I think the Corgis look just fine and it makes for an adorable baby quilt. As for the OBW - I think it's beautiful. And so is the bl/white. Good job on all three.
I love all three. Each is unique and well done.
