Well, I tried with paper and pen to see if I could do this motif. Not yet! But I like this for gifts, etc. And the practice of such a beautiful motif. I'm going to learn to do this. Thanks for sharing your ideas, pictures and instructions.

I got the idea for the swirled feather quilting design from a quilt just Charisma posted--Thank you, Charisma! They are about 9" in diameter and have a couple of layers of batting. Next time I'll add another layer or two of batting, but then I'll have to quilt each side separately before I put them together so that I can get them under the foot of my machine. They were a such fun little project! |
