My sister Yvonne sent me this link http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-52269-1.htm to Pollyv9's pictures she posted today, because she knew I'd made a block like Pollyv9's table runner but in different colors.
Here is the one I made, and some companion blocks for an eventual "primitive" style quilt. Isn't it interesting how the same block with different fabric changes its style? The Bird on a Vine pattern is available free online from Robyn Pandolph and RJR Fabrics at the following link. http://www.rjrfabrics.com/patterns/b...?designerID=19 Marcella's future quilt, haha Marcella's bird on a vine block Pollyv9's beautiful table runner |
Those are so cool. Different fabric makes such a huge difference. Thanks for sharing.

Cool! I like those!

Both blocks are absolutley lovely, the same and yet completely different!
|
and Robyn Pandolph's bird looks even more different. (Facing the other direction)
I still say that's the 'zaniest bunny rabbit' I've ever seen! Crazy! Good job, Sister! |
I really like those. They are non-traditional.
