three scrappy trips tops
3 Attachment(s)
From Bonnie Hunter's pattern
For nephew Kyle, just returned home from being stationed in South Korea, so has a flavor of red/white/blue No black in this one, which will look more finished when I bind with dark blue binding. For niece Miranda, the daughter I never had ;) pure scrappy with no black or red For her partner Jonathan per his request, red and black and white. This was a real kick to make and I think best of the lot. All three people are 30 somethings, all the tops are big twin/curl up on the couch size and took about 2 weeks to make. finished block size is 2". I spent hardly any time arranging the blocks, scrappy trips look great no matter how they go together. Waiting for some variegated thread to come before I start quilting. |

thank you for the kind words. In truth I've never seen an ugly quilt!
I printed off Bonnie's instructions on how to assemble a block, it took my mind forever to get around how it works :) |
