My husband was impressed with the machine. My daughter said she'll bring over the machine that is causing her problems......thinking I might be able to fix it....never know...turn a little tension knob...oh, maybe it needs oil?? Couldn't go wrong with the price......

: )

Nice little machine!! Thrift shops are so "hit or miss" that it feels so good to finally find something great!!

Me too, but I can't we don't have a true thrift store here. We have a store called treasures, but nothing really there just a lot of glassware, and other stuff the owner buys from garage sales.

I've got one of those! It is a real workhorse! You got a famtastic bargain!
In the picture, you don't have the outside end piece of the case slid in, it goes in front of where the bobbin is, to make a larger area to hold the fabric, while you are sewing.
If you got the owners manual of directions, look at it to see how it slides in. You can keep bobbins, and needles and a ripper inside it, too -it is a kind of storage box.

I was wondering where that little "box" fit. I checked the manual for threading, but not where to attach it.
Thanks
