Great find, a cutting table that folds out of the way when you aren't using it. Congratulations.

Sewnique 09-10-2011 05:38 PM

Congrats! You did well!

Latrinka 09-10-2011 06:37 PM

That is a fantastic find!

Gramof6 09-10-2011 11:13 PM

GREAT find! Love this & I know you will also. As for your iron, sorry. But.....you can let it dry out real well and use it for fusing things. If you get fusible on it and it gets yucky, pitch it and use another that has formerly sprung a leak. I save all of my irons when they leak for just that. LOL

Will totally use it for that thanks!!! I tried all the tips and such to get this to be usable, but I'm really a steam kind of girl so just can't deal with it not steaming. lol. But I'll totally use it for fusing. I am always so scared when I use my regular iron. lol

tlpa 09-11-2011 07:09 PM

Been looking for one just like it....lucky you!

coastienest 09-11-2011 07:15 PM

Awesome find. Sure wish our thrift shops had things like this. Ours are mostly clothes which is pretty boring. But I keep looking. Happy for you though!!!

heather1949 09-11-2011 07:18 PM

I had a Rowenta with a removable tank and the tank started leaking. The iron was over 3 years old already but Rowenta sent me a new tank for it free. I would contact them to see if they will help.

You know what, I totally will contact them. It's a great iron if I could fix that. Otherwise I'll keep it for fusable stuff.

Yep, I bought a Rowenta - it leaked - took it back. I do have a Rowenta steam generating ironing system that I love. I've had it approx. 10 years. Expensive but it never leaks and always have plenty of steam. That's a really nice table and it folds up!

JeannieT 09-13-2011 09:24 AM

I'd take those chairs out and use that space to store batting etc......greta find!

Jammin' Jane 09-13-2011 09:34 AM

Nice find!
Can you take the Rowenta back and get a refund?

Quilted Horse 09-15-2011 05:48 PM

Awesome score on the table and chairs. Bummer about the iron. I bought one brand new and it leaks too. Guess they're just not great for steaming. I use a spray bottle.

Pamibear 09-16-2011 08:10 AM

Wow! How lucky you are!
