Tinkerbelle's new Birthday Quilt
 

As some of you know, Tinkerbelle is our special little girl. She is now a 7 years old Chihuahua. We always have a birthday party for her, but I was in the hospital with a knee replacement for her real birthday.
I decided to make her a new batik summer weight quilt as her birthday present...just finished the quilting this morning. It is not my best work...and please don't look at the unmatched seams. After all it is for a four legged princess...
Last picture is of her in a new dress that another Princess, Heidi a Great Dane gave her for her birthday.

We will be having Chocolate cake and a cheese cake for the family for her birthday party/Mother's day celebration.

Yes, Andii....Tink had a lick of cheesecake. She would have loved more....but not on her diet. Thanks, I love those colors, too.

Very pretty quilt and Tinkerbelle. So cute in her new dresses.I have a long legged skinny Chihuahua, my avatar. She would eat the dress off. She ate through 5 collars when we first got her.

Love the quilt and Tinkerbelle too! I have a chihuahua named Lola and she has a Tinkerbelle halloween costume complete with wings! Chihuahuas are the best fur babies in my opinion :) What a lucky little girl to have you!

Love the party dresses and her special quiltie.

I had to buy a baby grow for my bishion chichuchu cross after an operation. She kept it on no trouble but when I tried to put a coat on for winter she spent ages until it came off.
Your think is adorable and why not a special treat for a birthday it is Freya's today. Chocolate and fudge cake.

AWWWWW!!!!! SusieT, she looks lovely in her Tinkerbelle dress. I can't find clothes to fit Heidi, and there are no patterns big enough. She is happy to wear purple bandanas.

Awww, Tink is the cutest!! She's gonna love her quilt. You might need to get your glasses changed I didn't see a single flaw in that girl's quilt! The dress is gorgeous, she looks very unhappy about the pictures though! Hugs!!!

I found him on the streets of hard knocks. We have had him 12 years and he loves to eat, so he is on a diet.

Tink is a purebred Applehead out of Arkansas...but it looks like her breeder was a puppymill.
They do look like twins...maybe an older brother? She is a big girl, too...and loves to sit up the same way.
She has a bunch of health issues, so is on a special diet....

This post is so adorable. I didn't know so many others were as attached to their fur babies as we are to our cock-a-poo. He's sick, me too. He's happy, me too. What wonderful companions/kids they are. Happy Birthday Tink and many many more.

Tink's a very lucky puppy.

She is a cutie. Happy Birthday Tink. We just lost our little white chihuahua, Elvis, at 4 1/2 years old. He had acute pancreatitis. They become one of your children with fur. I understand why they call them Fur Babies.

I am laughing, this made my day! This is so cute...so is your little birthday girl. We celebrate our dogs birthdays, but they don't get quilts, they just get a pup cake with a candle, and all the dogs gather around and sing happy birthday :)....

Those pictures are so cute of Tink, and all the other pics of cute fur babies too. We so love our fur babies. We lost our big ole Jo Jo about a month ago. Happy Birthday Tinkerbelle.
