Just the top at this stage, it's in the queue to be quilted though and fairly near the front! It's 50" 75" and although my 9th One Block Wonder (from the technique created by Maxine Rosenthal in her books of this name) the first where I included 3D features of the head and tail. Sorry about the photo quality - technical issues! :-D
PS the original fabric is the right hand panel in the border. |
Awesome!

Ooh really really nice. Love your OBW and love the boxes and the way you made that snake come out of the box. Its so different and a neat idea putting the fabric on the bottom that it was made from.

Thanks everyone, this one was really fun to do - all the fiddling about with the little pieces. Now I can't wait to start quilting it! :-D |
I've met these dragons in person folks - the colours are as usual much more vibrant in real life - and the quilt is fantastic!
Yet another hit Kathryn, and I'm looking forward to seeing it quilted. |
I am so ready to get back to my attempt. Life and work has thrown me some curves. I am ready for the design board but have not been able to get back to it. Sigh.... Love your work
|
I look at all the OBW pics on this board & wonder if I'll ever have the nerve to start cutting. Each one is prettier than the last, just outstanding unique work by everyone. The pics are a learning experience. The black bg & borders do set off the blocks. Thanks for sharing.

Very awesome! I wish I could see it all up close. I'm very intrigued about including some appliqued portions in the next one I make. Thanks for the idea!

Ashamed to say that Tipping the Scales isn't quilted yet but I just got some great varigated orange thread to do something flamey in the black border. |
That's fantastic. I bought the book but haven't had the courage to try one yet.
|
So Cool.
