It reminds me of candy canes and "old-fashioned Christmas"--love it. Thanks

that is just gorgeous! So festive!

This is what I love. I usually like to use quilts for more than one holiday. You can bring this out for Christmas, continue to use it for Valentines day and the green will flow into St. Patricks day. There you go!!!!!!!!!!

Nice quilt. It is bright and cheery. I haven't tried that pattern yet, but it's on my list. I can't keep up with all the patterns and ideas out there.

what size are your blocks? Thanks !!!

I agree, sometimes the same ole Christmas fabric gets to be stale after so many uses of it. I love how your quilt turned out with just the reds, greens and white. It looks so fresh and inviting to curl up with.
Thanks for sharing Pat |
Your quilt is just simply beautiful, great color choices and the tree's just add a great addition to those green blocks. Great quilt all around!

I was getting tired of working with the fancy christmas fabrics and decided to do something with simple red and green stuff. I did a disappearing 4 block. It was a pattern I've been wanting to try and it was quick and easy. I appliqued the trees on, otherwise it would have been a big green square in my quilt! Thanks for looking!
The world was blessed at Christmas with a miracle of love... a guiding star and angel choir rejoicing from above. They pointed to a tiny babe within a cattle stall- a Saviour bringing peace on earth- the greatest gift of all. For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given...and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6 |
Looks great to me. I not especially fond of the Christmas fabrics, so have done Christmas items that way too.
