Tired of same old Christmas fabric

I was getting tired of working with the fancy christmas fabrics and decided to do something with simple red and green stuff. I did a disappearing 4 block. It was a pattern I've been wanting to try and it was quick and easy. I appliqued the trees on, otherwise it would have been a big green square in my quilt! Thanks for looking!

Oh, I forgot. I was fooling around with the FMQ and trying different things so don't look too close!

Love your choice of Christmas fabrics. I'm with you on the fabric choices. They have all shades of green, especially avacado. Where is the Christmas red and green?

Very pretty. Was your four patch two whites and one each of red and the green stripe?
