Thanks,

when we made them the pattern was called "pinafore mug"...it was a Nancy's notions pattern. Don't know if its on her web site yet or not. love them

Thank you so much for sharing, that is very nice of you!

raksmum 08-02-2011 11:09 AM

Thanks for the link to the video! Those are so cute. I checked the website thinking they should have a free copy of the pattern but couldn't find it. Did anyone else find it?

NOELLA 08-02-2011 11:10 AM

I made some of these last year for my church fair and sold them all, every one seemed to like them.

cherrio 08-02-2011 12:35 PM

Good thinking.

droy57 08-02-2011 01:12 PM

2+1/2 yards is that right? For a mug.

Doreen 08-02-2011 01:16 PM

Found this on tube, is it the same one? Looks like it. :)

I soooo want to make some of these!

This tute shows how to make them a little different, but still cute....2 - half yrd cuts of contrasting fabric is what we used, but not all of both. I like the idea of adding a small pin cushion too, whereas mine didn't incl. the cushion.

droy57 08-02-2011 03:42 PM

Thanks I get it now.

craftymatt2 08-02-2011 05:28 PM

I have this pattern just for this purpose and a ton of mugs, just haven't made them yet, but soon

According to the pattern (Simplicity 2450) the most fabric that you use is 1/2 yard for the main fabric and 1/2 yard of contrast fabric.

I've made these and they are so easy. I'm making some to sell at a craft fair.

Hancock Fabrics or Hobby Lobby usually run patterns on sale for a couple of dollars.

I got mine a couple of weeks back at Hancock Fabrics for $1.99 on sale, regularly $14.99. The salesgirl saw me holding it and told me that it would be going on sale in a couple of days, whewwwww! I just HAD to have the pattern and I still haven't made one.

chuckbere15 08-03-2011 02:57 PM

I am going to get this pattern, what a wonderful idea for gifts.

Maureen 08-03-2011 03:51 PM

Id like to make some too. Very cute

jbj137 08-05-2011 02:21 PM

It is a Simplicity #2450 & the bucket
cover pattern is Simplicity #4232.

I just bought both of them when
Hobby Lobby hat on sale for 99 cents.
