I love it. Wouldn't put the piano keys as close--like the suggestion of using as binding. I have a bunch of strip blocks made and will be puttin them together soon.

That is so very beautiful.

Well, it took me two days because I thought if your quilt was on a foundation piece of muslin, then your borders had to be too, so I pieced it on a long length of muslin and that is what was so time consuming. I also thought I made a mistake by not putting the black separation binding on a foundation piece but didn't think of it until after it was all done....too late.

I'm just so unsure of what to do, I think I will ask the girl I am making it for what she prefers without showing her the quilt, just the border. Thank you all for your wonderful suggestions. I'll surely be using one of them :)

Me too I couldn't think of a more perfect finish for such a lovely quilt, will you bind it in the same colour as the sashing?

Love it nice job

Either way the quilt is beautiful. I think if you are not feeling it leave it off.

OK. I understand.

It is truly beautiful no matter how you finish it. I'm thinking I need to add one of these quilts to my list of "quilts to make". :)
