Not your usual "Baby" quilt, but it sure looks good to me
Why on earth would you think it is ugly?! It is PERFECT for some blessed little boy.
It isn't hideous. I have seen hideous and this isn't it! You did a wonderful job on this quilt.
I personally like your quilt. Any mom or child should love it.
OK everyone don't beat me up - but I've got to agree. It is way too masculine for a baby. Donate it to a homeless shelter; they would appreciate it - no matter what the fabric looked like.
I say give it. The child will be able to use it much longer and it won't be a "baby" quilt. It won't show wear easily or dirt, either. A good choice.
Boy I should have read everyones post before i posted. I'm not saying the quilt is ugly - I'm just agreeing with the quilters thoughts. Please don't be offended.

i think it needs a good home some baby would love it

Hubby has been encouraging me to give it anyway, as it's a nice usable cozy quilt, but is it too darned ugly to give away? |

If you feel the mom to be isn't into the comfy, homey type of stuff then maybe hold this back for a mom that is. But the one you made is worth giving and is a great baby quilt. Only you can decide.
