I think your quilt is beautiful. My daughter-in-law would have loved a quilt like that. Instead she got a "traditional" looking baby quilt and after I saw the baby's room, could tell that it did not fit in at all (BTW, I did not make the traditional one she got). SO, I LOVE YOURS!!!

Well I like it! I looks like the pbs cartoon Arthur.... My son would love it... and it is just as much for a girl too. give it.. You will be surprized, everyone loves quilts tht are home made!

I think that is a cute quilt. I make lots of them with fabric with movement and pictures, and I imagine them used as what I call play quilts, a quilt to lay on the floor and put baby on, and they will enjoy the colors and motion of the quilt. And it may even become their drag around the house quilt.
At least that is what I hope for the quilts I make. Babies grow out of the cutesy stuff fast and need something to look at. I love yours. |
Not the typical baby quilt. I like it.

I think it is adorable!
It's definitely one that will grow-up with him. Somehow I just never can visualize a 10 year boy old using a powder blue quilt. :) |
I like it, and I think a baby/toddler will be drawn to explore it because of the pictures and strong contrast of colors. Plus, it will probably take a beating being dragged around and "luved".
