Wow, how beautiful! I've never seen that pattern before but will be looking for it now. I've only ever done machine quilting but find that I want something to do by hand since I hate just sitting watching TV without something to do with my hands. I used to do cross stitching but had to stop becuase of shoulder issues. Hmmm, I might just have to give this a try. Thanks for sharing!

Yes I did put sandpaper on the back of the template. I wanted to make sure each piece was perfectly drawn.

Your color choice is gorgeous. This is truly a stunning quilt. The time you've invested in this lovely quilt has certainly been worth it. When you complete the hand quilting you will have an heirloom for generations to come. Be sure to label it.
