Tote from Missouri Star Quilters
1 Attachment(s)
One of the easiest tutorials I have done. This is from Missouri Star Quilters. I think it took about two hours.

Looks great! I really like the flap on the top. Did you use a magnetic snap closure? Jenny's tutorials are so easy to follow, and always such rewarding results.
|

Just watched this video this morning---looks super easy and quick---can't wait to give it a try. I have a couple of baby quilts I need to finish up and will be making a tote or two to gift the quilts in...goodness knows a new mother always needs more storage/carrying items :)
|
Love it, great work!

Thanks for posting this, Harriet! I had watched the video but haven't had time to make one. Now with the downloaded instrustions, I won't have to start and stop youtube. Thanks, labeelady, for the link.
|
Great tote! I printed out the directions (thanks labeelady) and put the you tube link at the bottom of the page (thanks btiny36) .
Hope to try out the pattern soon. Thanks for sharing the info everyone. |
I made one yesterday, but didn't use a charm pack. It too more than two hours, but I am a slow sewer and had to watch and rewatch the video at spots. Love the bag, though. Ginny does make things so easy!

patti b - your bag is great also! Love the blues.

Very nice, I love your fabrics. That would make a nice fall/winter tote. Missouri Star's tutorials are so easy to follow. :):):)

So fast. Those are the kinds of projects I need.
|
If you want pockets inside, you need to sew them onto the lining fabric before assembling the bag.
|
Lookin great... I recently watched the tutorial and was thinking about making one...
