This was only about half the quilts from the Traditions show and I added some from the Church in Dryden too! Both of these shows are in New York State

The quilts are beautiful displayed in the church. They make those old hard pews look almost comfortable.:D

Wow! Thank you. I generally dislike Dear Janes, but this quilter took it to a whole new level. The fishy one made me laugh.

I agree re the Dear Jane. That's the best one I've ever seen. But some of them just blow me away. Mind boggling the patience it took to do that much detail. All were amazing.

Y'all certainly have a lot of talented quilters and beautiful quilts, and lots of paper piecers too :) ! I love the colors in the SAS, one of my favorite designs. I'm intrigued by the wall hanging inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night (I think). Can you tell how they got all the variation and swirls in the fabrics? was the fabric printed that way, thread painting, applique or something else? Thanks!

Absolutely fantastic work! Thanks so much for taking the time to post the pictures. I really like the third quilt shown, very simplistic but an excellent way to use funky fabrics. I have some Australian fabric that needs to be in something like this.

Wow, wow, wow, and wow again. Some very talented quilters there. The DJ is wonderful - SAS is gorgeous - the NY Beauty below it is to die for - I really like the bookcase quilt - and others - but the quilt that made me pause and study it was the one below. Does anyone know what it's called? It looks like a big stained glass window.
