That is beautiful. If you can't find anyone to restore it or if you decide that you would like to do it yourself, here is a link with instructions on how to work on it.
If you scroll down to "The Wood Shop" and click on that link, it will take you to a page with a lot of information on how to restore the wood.

Yep, Perth is small, beautiful and I think the most isolated city in the world. What's more, treadle's are very thin on the ground. Most seem to be on the eastern seaboard....still I wait and hope for one to come my way!.

lovely!!! I have the same one! Unfortunately, the machine was rusted quite badly. :cry: She works, but isn't very pretty anymore. But the cabinet sits at the end of my hallway and looks so pretty.
