What an undertaking! The finished quilt is truly amazing. The undulating border creates such a beautiful frame.

I certainly hope you plan on entering that in a large quilt expo. It definitely is a show-stopper. The quilting is equally spectacular...great combo! Are those "dresdens"bound and layer appliquéd, then appliquéd to the background fabric, along with the border! That's what I'm seeing, but I may be way wrong. However you did it, it is indeed a great accomplishment!

Geri, the plates were put on and then appliqued down.
