You guys are bad. Now instead of doing my 4 remaining exchange blocks this afternoon, I cut out strips and made up tube blocks! They are so fun! I tried to take pictures but it was too dark, and when I tried with the flash, it washed them out. So I will try in the daytime tomorrow. Mine are red, blue and the light part is a white with patriotic Santa's on it. I have had that fabric for a long time and not known what to do with it. It is perfect for this! I got 10 small blocks out of each strip, or 2 1/2 big blocks. I am taking them to class tomorrow to show them how it's done. I'm sure several will like them for fast Christmas gifts. Thanks again for showing us this tutorial!

Okay, took some more pics in the daylight, see if you can tell the colors, red and blue, and Santa.

No, that is 4 blocks put together. This sure is fun, going to take the rest of the sets to class and show them how it is done.

thanks for the tutorial link. I watched it and am going to do it. It's so simple. Why didn't I think of this? And I have this ruler already.

Before one runs out to buy a "special" ruler ... check out the rulers you have.
If there is one with a 45 degree angle on it, these blocks can be handily accomplished.
