Try Missouri Star. I just bought a large tumbler template from them & it works beautifully! You can also make your own. Take a 5" square, cut from 1 bottom to 1" in on the top of the same side. Repeat on the other side and there you have it. There is also a great pattern on the quilterscache.com. You could just enlarge it to the size you'd like. Good luck. Let us know how you make out.

Do you think that would work as well for the 10" template? Just cut a 10" sq and then an inch on either side at the bottom? |
I love the colors and the pattern, you DH did great.

Where did he get the plexiglass? What size the plexiglass sheet? Then when it is cut, how rough are the edges?

He used some he already had in his shop & it was 1/8" think. Then he lightly sanded the edges (not too much so as not to alter dimensions. (the're really smooth) Then I applied TrueGrips adhesive disks so it wouldn't slide on my fabric. TrueGrips: http://www.graceframe.com/site/rotarycutting/truegrips |

Thanks for explaining the tumbler sizes. I have been cutting 5" blocks out of left over fabric with not a clue as to what I was going to use it for. Problem solved thanks to you. I love your fabrics, your quilt will be beautiful when you are finished. Thnks for sharing. Carol
