I would like to give credit for my idea of this quilt. But I totally stole it from someone's picture on this website. Here is a link to the original quilt http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...h-t203662.html . The next picture is my quilt. I really love the pink and green theme. I really appreciate everyone's participation in the website. I spend a part of each day checking out what's new and I really haven't scratched the surface. I love the avatars because they show your personality. No, I don't have one yet. I have to decide who I am. I am not a real quilter yet. My family likes "comforters".

nurseart 04-14-2013 07:29 AM

My son is my "proofer" and he found 6 mistakes of transposed blocks. He says I have them repaired now. I did not see them till I took the picture. It is a small quilt but a lot of work.

At the end of all that, I would call you a quilter. Very pretty.

Great quilt and taking a picture really helps to find boo boos!

LillyandGish 04-14-2013 08:55 AM

This is stunning! I love the pattern! No such thing as transposed blocks. Merely creative placing.

annt59 04-14-2013 08:58 AM

This would be great as your avatar. Lovely!

JenDale 04-14-2013 09:08 AM

Looks like the work of a quilter to me :) Well done..

BizzieLizzie 04-14-2013 09:43 AM

Sweet colours. As far as 'mistakes' are concerned, firstly I can't see any and secondly, it is common for quilters to intentionally put mistakes into their quilts as this would identify them as being unique to the owner? So not to worry if there are any because that will be your identifying feature, but if it bothers you, then of course you will need to do what is necessary. Just remember, we have no quilt inspectors on this board! :D Thank you for sharing and welcome to quilting board. In my eyes, you are a quilter, no doubt about that!!

MartiMorga 04-14-2013 09:44 AM

SulaBug 04-14-2013 09:57 AM

cindy4857 04-14-2013 10:20 AM

Even with the transposed squares it's beautiful. I'd say your a quilter to tackle that pattern and finish it. Great job.

GeePatti 04-14-2013 10:43 AM

Oh, this is so neat! I want to try one, too~ Beautiful work! Very refreshing look!

QUILTNMO 04-14-2013 10:51 AM

That is a lovely Spring quilt! You're officially a "quilter", for sure ...

Pam S 04-14-2013 11:39 AM

Lovely quilt. Don't know why you don't think you're a "real quilter" - looks like a real quilt to me. Great job.

labug 04-14-2013 12:08 PM

Beautiful quilt

fien777 04-14-2013 12:39 PM

I'm the one who made the first turkish labyrinth and I'm all thrilled about you loving it that much to make one yourself!!!!!!
Turned out very beautiful I think!
You're definitely a quilter...hope you're addicted now hahahahaha!!!

littlebitoheaven 04-14-2013 01:37 PM

This is beautiful. Love the colors too. Pieced comforters are quilts. It is the piecing that designates it as a quilt. How you finish it is just "frosting". I love comforters too.

Luv Quilts and Cats 04-14-2013 01:38 PM

Very pretty!

JuneBillie 04-14-2013 02:13 PM

Very pretty quilt with pretty spring colors. If you are not a quilter, then I don't know what a quilter is. lol...

Really stunning quilt!

sue.ross.8782 04-15-2013 04:38 AM

Perfection is overrated. I see what happened, and I still love it. Lovely lattice work. Would you consider writing the instructions and publishing it? I would love to work this into a quilt in the future.

catladyquilts 04-15-2013 04:44 AM

They are just added character. I would not change a thing.
P.S. And find a new proofer!

debcavan 04-15-2013 07:57 AM

It is beautiful.

Sneed 04-15-2013 08:02 AM

This turned out very pretty. Color choices are beautiful. Glad your son is so "helpful." My DH does this for me, and at times he'll find something wrong that I have totally missed. He's usually afraid to mention these missteps, but I've convinced that I need all the help I can get.

alikat110 04-15-2013 06:47 PM

Very pretty...
