Twisted Patchwork (Garden Twist)
 

I finally have a finish to show. We entirely re-decorated this bedroom, and this quilt was a UFO that I really needed to finish. We got new carpeting, too. I made the panels for the shutters and used the same fabric for the bed skirt. Also made some coasters with fabric scraps, and finished a counted cross stitch bird wall hanging. DH antiqued the bell pull for the wall hanging as well as a small corner shelf (which you will see next to the dresser) to match the furniture. I love how the whole room turned out. I'll add some Christmas embellishments for DD and DSonIL who are coming for Christmas.

but I changed the order of the colors so they would twist around each other (intertwine).

Sew beautiful. My late Aunt Ellen would have loved the purple. It was her favorite color.

What a ton of love and work that went into this room! My sister would steal that Winsor chair if she saw it. I would go for the Wedgewood vase myself. I love that in every color. LOL!

Like your version of the pattern better than the original.........great room....like the way you appliqued some flowers a bit over the trellis in spots......great dimensional look!!

I love your room. I have the book for this quilt and the fabric just waiting for me to get going. So much to sew and so little time. If only I had someone to clean and do laundry and cook for me. Then I could make this quilt ! Your cross-stitch picture is just perfect.

very pretty i have a bedroom i am getting ready to redo it was my mother in laws and in the house we live in now nothing has been painted in many many years and the landlord says we can paint if we like as long as its in good taste i would love to have the bed like you have and maybe one dresser
