Last week I submitted a post asking for help with twister ruler measurement. Here are a few pics of one side border.

Third pic is of the back. I really enjoy using starch now to see how flat it makes the seems!!!

Now I understand your original question! You wanted to use the twisters AS a border not how much fabric to make a border FOR a twister row. Yours are very pretty.

I've not been a fan of the twisted blocks but I'd not seen it in a border as you have done. I like it that way. Nice job.

Great idea! I am going to borrow this idea. I have a beautiful crib quilt pattern that I need to enlarge for a twin bed quilt and the little twister as a border is the solution. Thanks so much for posting.

Yes it will be used as a border, with three others for the other sides.

There are 27 five inch pink squares. I don't know the finished size, will measure it tomorrow and post it.

I will post the pics of the quilt once I have the top done. I have to figure out the rest of the borders. Any thoughts.

I must have missed this.....love that border....so how did you set up the squares to end up with the border.......might try that on my next scrappy.......

Wanabee Quiltin 04-26-2012 07:10 AM

My old quilting teacher would give you an A+ if she saw that last picture. Your seams look fantastic and are so neat. This will be great on the quilt.
