very nice!

That looks fabulous!!! I love it when there's little waste!
See! There is a use for even the tiniest morsel of fabric. You did a great job salvaging those trimmings. Good work.
Great job
That looks good!
Very clever! It was one of my concerns about trying the Twister.
Very pretty! No waste is good.
OOOOOOOOh, I love it. I have the tool, but have yet to make the quilt. But I love the new block from the scrap.
Great idea. Now if you want you can do a Half Square Triangle exchange with all the others who have leftovers from the Twister.
love it
A genius at work!
Well, darn...now I'll have to make a Twister just to have the scraps to make what you did! The runner looks great! Of course, I LOVE HST!
Very Pretty!!
Great save, looking good!
I like it!
Lovely....and a very creative use of the twister waste....I'm waiting on my tools but thanks in advance for what to do with the leftovers.
great idea.
Great idea.
The table runner is soooooo cute. awesome
Thanks so much for the Twister Remnants ideas!
Very nice
love it.

Very creative!! And don't you just love that method of getting HSTs from squares? I like it, and I am going to do a test sew day to do a chart to show what size squares get what size HSTs. Unless someone else has already done this? If you know, let me know!! :-)

I wasn't concerned so much with it for these projects because all the scrap ends up being on the bias too. Given the bias skewing...I started with 4 1/4" inch squares. This ended up making 2 1/2" squares that finished at 2". |

This is what I came up with for the scrap so far. I cut the leftover squares down to 4 1/4" square. I put them right sides together and sewed 1/4" seam around the entire block. Then, I cut the diagonal both ways, and ended up with 4 HST, per set of 4 1/4" blocks. I played with the HSTs I made, and came up with this block. I'm working on using the rest of the scrap to put it into a runner. I'm going to have to change what I have, but at least it's an idea. :) |
what is a twister tool :?: :?: :?: I have never heard of it
Awesome job!!

Maybe1day |
Cool..Waste not want not.
Clever solution  |
I love your fabric design and colors.
That is terrific! Now I gotta dig out my leftovers....thanks for the ideas.....and keep them coming!
Great Idea!! I haven't tried a twister quilt because i don't like to waste fabric. It's so expensive. Great idea and thanks so much for sharing.
Looks great. The way I used a wasted block--I finished it off, put a backing on with pockets and straps and with a little velcro, I have something to put on the arm of my easy chair to hold remotes!
Do you have enough to make 3 of the same color - like the pink, for instance, to put three of the same color blocks in one table runner?
Maybe tis one time to not be scrappy? Sometimes the it is time to see the secondary pattern? J |
beautiful blocks!
What a clever idea. Really like your runner.
