Two Baby Quilts Recently Finished

Here are two baby quilts I recently finished. These are my baby girls quilts. I'm working on baby boy quilts. I wanted to have a couple on hand for when I needed a gift. The one with the striped border left the house last night for a baby born over the weekend.

They're both cute, but if the colours are true on my monitor, I prefer the 1st version, as the darker green really jumps out at me on the 2nd version. But both are still cute!

Both beautiful quilts. Prefer the 1st one, alot softer colouring.

Sounds like everyone agrees with me. They were made from fat quarter packs. The second one uses the green that came in the pack. For the first one I substituted a different green. BTW, the fat quarter packs were from Tuesday Morning and the fabric for the borders and backing came from Walmart. Just thought some of you might like to know.

Both quilts are pretty and each makes its own statement. #1 is subtle and #2 is vibrant. However way you slice it they are both going to be loved! Nice work!!!

You make great quilts! Either will make a wonderful gift. My fav is the 2nd one. The green shares space with the pink.
