Two Christmas gifts finally finished..
 

These are both now finished. I have spent about 14-16 hours doing binding by hand but they are now officially finished.. One for each daughter away at school. These pics don't show the binding complete. I have a great husband and wife LAQ shop nearby that do fantastic work...thanks for looking..

I like them both, but love the second one! It gives me an idea of how to use a Layer Cake I bought some time ago.

Great job on the chevrons. Matching all those points isn't easy - which is why I haven't made one! The single row of green (hope it's green - I'm color challenged) adds the pizzazz that makes the quilt go from good to great.

The quilting in both is superb!

Thank you all so much for your comments...I am close to tears reading all the kind words.....the chevron almost ended up in the scrap pile when I was working on it...glad I persevered!
