I think you made the right choice with the white. As you say, it doesn't overwhelm the flowers and it makes a nice contrast on the black. Would love to see a picture of the whole quilt.

Definately the right choice for thread....makes the black fabric look like it has a design of it's own.

I like the white thread. There is already black in the prints that looks like quilting lines. Love the quilt,do you know if it is a pattern?
